Economic Loss Opinions
Weinstein & Co. has provided the economic loss reports for five plaintiffs in the Lawsuit of Sokolow v. PLO. The Reports prepared by us were financial opinion that estimate the economic loss caused to the plaintiffs as the result of them being severely harmed or injured in terror attacks. On two of them the firm’s partner, Dov Weinstein was requested to be testified by the federal jury in New York.
On February 23, 2015 – NEW YORK – the federal jury has found the PA and PLO liable for supporting terrorist attacks in Israel over a decade ago and ordered the groups to pay $218.5 million to the victims’ families.
The reports we prepared in the Sokolow case is in addition to other financial opinions about loss of revenue of people injured in violent acts such as terrorism and accidents, and that appealed to Israel and the US Court claim for compensation for damage caused to them. Our firm has prepared three more economic loss reports for terror attack victims were lawsuits were held in the United States district court for the District of Columbia, in these cases the judge final ruling was based on Weinstein’s opinion.
